British Model Flying Association Air Show at Castle Howard

On Sunday 13th September 2009 Castle Howard near York will be hosting the British Model Flying Association Air Show.

During this special “one day only” event guests staying at our hotels in Malton will be able to see members of the British Model Flying Association take to the skies above Castle Howard.

The Air Show is to mark the 69th anniversary of the Battle of Britain and will feature models of some of the aircraft that fought in the Battle, such as the Hawker Hurricanes and the Supermarine Spitfires.

During the display at Castle Howard, guests staying at our Malton hotels will be able to view aerobatic models such as Sukhoi’s and ‘3D’ models when they take to the sky. The ultra light and high powered models are designed only with wild aerobatics in mind and this spectacular display is a must see event in the Castle Howard diary.

Admission to this event is included in the garden ticket.
