The opening of Castle Howard 2009

Guests visiting our Malton hotels will soon be able to visit the stately home of Castle Howard.

Castle Howard is only a short distance away from the Talbot Hotel and The Green Man and this beautifully set stately home is opening for its 2009 season on 16th March. To mark the occasion Castle Howard is hosting a new exhibition, Sing a Song of Sixpence.

The new exhibition is a wonderful opportunity to explore the richly illustrated pages of the many Victorian children’s books normally stored within the bookshelves of Castle Howard. It is in these hidden gems that the imagination of the artist and illustrator really takes off – with the power to inspire readers of all ages!

The Sing a Song of Sixpence exhibition will be open from Monday 16th March until Sunday 30th August 2009, and entry is included in admission to Castle Howard.
