19th Jan 2009
Guests staying at our Malton hotels between 16 January and 24th January 2009 will have the chance to watch Malton’s 60th anniversary pantomime, Robinson Crusoe and The Pirates, a show which will have Malton’s biggest ever cast!
Curtains up on Malton’s pantomime was on Friday at the Milton Rooms and the extravaganza features a mix of song and laughter. Tom Todd, spokesman for the Malton and Norton Musical Theatre (MNMT) said of the show:
“It is the biggest annual entertainment event in the two towns and audiences are in for a special treat this year when the larger than usual cast, including many popular local performers, take to the stage.”
Those taking part in Malton’s local event include comic Mark Poole, the star of dozens of Malton pantos over the years, Rory Queen who plays the dame, veteran of comedy Ian Goring and Adam Hymas.
Tickets for Robinson Crusoe and The Pirates are available at £8.50 and £6.50 from the tourist information office in Malton.
